Temperature plays a decisive role in the processing of plastics. E.g. during deep drawing: If it is too high, the material melts – if it is too low, the deformation will not correspond to the required quality.
For exact temperature sensing, HEITRONICS offers several infrared spectral ranges which are specially adapted to the plastic to be measured. Temperature measurement of very thin films with only a few microns thickness is therefore possible. We also offer customer-specific spectral ranges for special applications.
The CT13.3i has been specially developed for temperature measurement of thin PE and PP and allows measurement from temperatures of 50 °C and higher.
HEITRONICS also offers solutions for the measurement of paints (e.g. during drying) with only a few microns of layer thickness, which are adapted to the respective paint.
