A high and consistent cement clinker quality can only be achieved if the process conditions during production in the rotary kiln are stable. The KT19.41 II Infrared Radiation Thermometers from HEITRONICS are designed to meet these requirements for temperature measurement in the clinker burnout zone in cement production. In addition, the non-contact temperature measurement at the rotary kiln sintering zone with a spectral range of 3.9 µm is not influenced by burner flames and CO2 flue gas. This leads to more reliable and stable measured values being transmitted to the control system.

The combustion flame and higher turbulence in this area can cause increased soiling of the protective windows. HEITRONICS therefore offers an efficient air purging system that significantly extends the service life of the window and at the same time reduces air consumption.

The cement plant of Schwenk Zement GmbH & Co. KG in Karlstadt is equipped with a KT19.41 II radiation thermometer from HEITRONICS in the production of cement clinker.
